Digital signatures for business agreements

Digital signing lets you send agreements directly to customers and get signed documents back without printing or manual handling. Zigna is built for teams that want speed and clear traceability at every step.

What is a digital signature?

A digital signature confirms that a person agrees to a document online. The signature is linked to the document version, the time of signing, and often the method used (email code, drawn signature, or BankID).

For business use, the important part is traceability: who signed what, when, and which version was agreed.

How signing works in Zigna

You upload a PDF or build the document in the quote editor. Then you invite recipients, choose the signature level, and send a secure link.

Recipients sign in the browser. You follow progress in one view and download the signed PDF when everyone is done.

When to use BankID

BankID provides strong identity verification and is common for higher-value agreements in Sweden. Simpler signature methods work well for quotes and routine contracts where speed matters most.

Benefits for your team

Shorter turnaround, fewer errors from manual PDF handling, and a clear audit trail. Templates and team accounts help you standardise documents as you grow.
